Certified Energy Analyst Requirement for Site-Built Homes
Projects that are enrolled in this program with a site-built home must have a Certified Energy Analyst (CEA) and the HERS rater you hire must be certified by CalCERTS or CHEERS. The California building code requires you to have an energy consultant and a HERS rater as part of your rebuild. The program only requires the professionals you hire to be certified. To view a list of CEA’s and certified HERS raters that are already participating in this program, please follow this link.
